I didn't begin painting until I was 38 years old.
What began as a way through grief became a lifelong pursuit of discovering beauty, simplifying what matters, and seeing familiar things with fresh eyes.
Whether I'm painting a harbor, an abstract composition, or an ordinary street, I'm less interested in documenting a place than revealing how it feels to experience it.
