A PLACE TO PAUSE
A familiar shoreline. Flowers on a table. A color that makes you look twice. I paint the things that catch my attention, in the hope that they might mean something to you, too.

After my grandmother died, I painted her portrait. I had never painted before. What began as a way to work through grief opened a part of my life I hadn’t expected.
Life Is Art connects my paintings with my writing about life after 50. Both begin with paying attention to what matters, making room for beauty, and remembering that there’s still more to discover.
